Diabetes – Epidemic of India

India has a population of about 1.1 billion out of which 35 million suffer with diabetes. According to research, by about 2025 the number could increase to 70 million. Diabetes mostly affects the working class. The annual health care cost for diabetes in India is about $2.2 billion. Many people struggle due to the poorly controlled diabetes.
